Poha is flattened rice that is steam cooked with onions, spices and herbs.

  • 2-5 Tbsp salt
  • 250g Cauliflower rice
  • 2-5 Tbsp turmeric powder
  • 2-5 Tbsp mustard seeds
  • 5 Tsp coconut oil
  • Separate the cauliflower florets and stalks.
  • Cut the stalks into cubes resemble like potato and grate the florets.
  • Boil the stalks in salted water till tender. Keep the stalks in a bowl.
  • Cook the florets in boiling water with salt. Drain and squeeze out the water
  • Heat the pan with oil in medium flame. Fry almond and keep aside.
  • Then add mustard seeds and once they start popping, add onions, green chillies, curry leaves, turmeric powder. Saute for 2 minutes.
  • Add cooked cauliflower rice, cauliflower stalks and mix well.
  • Finally garnish with coriander leaves and lemon juice.
