Poori is a deep fried fat bread made from wheat flour. It is mostly served as a breakfast in India. It is usually served with a savory curry.

  • 2-5 Tbsp salt
  • 5 Tbsp coconut oil
  • 6 Tbsp almond flour
  • 5 Tbsp chia seed powder
  • 2 Tbsp water
  • 2 Tbsp sunflower seed powder
  • 2-3 Tsp Xantham gum
  • Mix all the ingredients in a bowl, knead the flour with water and make it into small balls.
  • Let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
  • Take two parchment pieces of paper, place the dough in between and roll thinly to a round shape.
  • Heat a kadhai with oil, fry poori both sides on medium flame, 
  • Serve hot with any of the accompaniments.
